G-scan MRI
Prestige Diagnostic Imaging offers one of a kind MRI diagnostic imaging services. Being the first and only weight bearing MRI, our image quality is second to none. The G-scan offers high resolution to identify protruding discs, fractures, and meniscal tears. Our G-scan MRI offers an open design which is non-claustrophobic and its unique design allows for a high-field imaging to be performed with the patient is relaxed and in a supine position. This means the MRI scan can be done sitting, standing or laying down. The benefits of the Upright imaging while the patient stands in a weight-bearing position allows it to uncover pathology hidden because of its unique position; it shows more clearly the conditions that cause the patients’ pain by using his/her own gravitational pressure on the area that would otherwise go unnoticed in a laying down position. Most MRI’s take less than one hour and we are very flexible on scheduling with most appointments within the same week.
